Dr. Web update emails nuisance

The issue with drweb nuisance emails notification can be resolved by editing the file

# vi /etc/cron.d/drweb-update

and changing the:

*/30 * * * * drweb /opt/drweb/update.pl

*/30 * * * * drweb /opt/drweb/update.pl >/dev/null 2>&1

This forced the output to be send to the ether never to return rather then your email address. You can check if there is still some emails in the queue (Postfix) by running the command:

# mailq

and fully clear it with the following command

# postsuper -d ALL

*NOTE: this will remove all the emails from the server queue therefore caution is advised before running it*
